We believe that the best way out of poverty is education, hence our LOGO🦋. It is the most sustainable way of making a change and gives us the knowledge needed to create a better future for ourselves. Concerning this SDG🇺🇳, we made 5 different projects. For our 3rd project we decided to help a school named “Grâce de dieux” who mentors disabled students. As the world begins to tackle a massive learning crisis, getting children with disabilities into school requires focused actions. 💪 Our first step into the organization of this project was to know how we were going to afford it. We opted for a food sale in our school and begin organizing it.✒ First, we had to define where we would get the food, who would sell the food, who would keep the money and how to make people aware of it. We ended up asking for the help of two classes in our school (45 students)❗ All in all, this event was successful, we sold everything and gained $460❗ After putting together all the money we gained during the foodsale and some of the money we gained from donations ($950), we devoted the week of April 11th to buying the supplies based on the interview with the director and a list he sent us. Those included large amounts of food🍙, sanitary products,🧼 bedding🛏, and school supplies📒. We then visited the school on April 20th,to distribute what we got for the students. But we didn’t stick to that only, we also made activities with the kids like painting, they taught us sign language and how to write in braille. This was a great experience for us because we didn’t just give, we also gained knowledge through this journey and were very delighted to share it with you!🦋💪 #nopoverty #qualityofeducation #gslgoals #globalsocialleaders @globalsocialleaders
