On April 17th, our team, The Butterfly Effect, made two collaborations with Nour and Collect for change. We raised money to help a village in Pout who was in great need. Most of the inhabitants of that village were women, who had no jobs and no money to take care of themselves and their children. Therefore , we decided to help them! But we didn’t want to give them something that would last just for a little while, we wanted to help them in sustainable way, so that they can support themselves in the future. So together, with our partners, we raised up to a million francs cfa ( 1000 dollars). With that money we bought a truck full of food, fabric, sanitary products that we gave to them so they can create a market with all those products. We gave them the starting point of their business and explained to them how they can maintain it and make it thrive.
Hopefully this project we work out for the best. We will stay updated on the market to see how it goes.
All in all our project was successful !
